A Message from Pastor Mark Regarding our Response to COVID-19

As you know the COVID-19 situation is fluid. With our efforts to continue following the recommendations given by local, state, and national health officials, we are moving our Sunday March 22nd gatherings online. Youth service is also moving online and will be live-streamed Wednesday at 7p with worship and an encouraging word from Pastor Gary. We will not be meeting at the church. Care Groups have been canceled for Thursday, March 19th.   Grow Track One Day for Saturday March 21 is also canceled.

Our kids and youth ministries are excited to resource you with content  to encourage you and equip you with discipleship tools for your kids and students! Be sure to “Like” True North Kids and True North Youth on Facebook for those resources.

Our team is looking at creative ideas of how we can be a blessing to our city and help those in our community during this time. We will have more information soon!

Here are 3 ways we can respond as believers during this moment in time.

1) Pray for our community and those directly affected by COVID-19. Pray for the health care workers who are treating the sick and those public health administrators making difficult decisions. Pray that God would protect our community from spread of the virus.

2) Reflect Christ. In these anxious days, the church (all of us) can shine as a light of hope, care, faith, patience, and prudence. We can demonstrate to the world how our faith provides true assurance against worry and fear.

3) Practice recommended personal hygiene. Wash your hands frequently and stay home if you are sick.

As more details and information become available, we will continue to post updates on our website, social media, and other communication outlets. Text “Update” to (206) 535-1955 to receive text message updates throughout.
