The media team can help to enhance our Wednesday and Sunday gatherings through sound, projection, lights, and video. Our desire is never to distract, but instead to bring to life the worship and teaching and to provide the logistical support needed to reach those in the auditorium, watching online, or listening to our podcast.
How can I serve?
Production Team
If you have experience running sound, lighting or video presentations, or if you are tech-savvy, we need you! We have multimedia systems in the main auditorium and in our multipurpose rooms on each level.
Live Stream
For our live stream, we need people on camera, sound, switcher, and presentation (worship lyrics). Our live stream reaches people who can't be here, military personnel, those in villages without a church, and even prison inmates across our state. This is a great opportunity to use your skills to reach people all over our state and beyond!
Photography
If you have photography and video skills, there are several opportunities for you to serve. When we can capture the community atmosphere of our foyer, the dynamic worship and teaching in our gatherings, the amazing kids and youth activities, it helps us spread the word to invite others to be a part of what God is doing at True North. We have a camera for you to use, or you can request to use your own high quality camera.

We need sound and projection during all of our Sunday gatherings. Serve team members typically serve for 1-2 gatherings on a Sunday they are scheduled, and can be scheduled once per month, or more often if desired.
Our Sunday Live stream runs during our 9:30A gathering. The team is asked to be there from 9:15A. Photography can be done during and between all Sunday gatherings.
Midweek Opportunities
Sound, projection, and photography are also needed for Youth Nights (Sundays at 6P) and special events throughout the year.

Who can serve?
There is room for people of all skill levels! If you have experience in any of these areas, we would love to have you! But the technical aspects can be taught. Media should not distract from the worship or teaching, but should enhance it. We are looking for people who want to use their skills to bring to life the message being presented in our gatherings.

Everyone who joins a Serve Team starts with Grow Track. It's more than just a volunteer orientation. Grow Track is a four-step process for anyone interested in taking the next step in their journey with God. Discover your God-given purpose and be equipped you to make a difference in your community and the world! No need to register! Join us on Sundays at our AIRPORT WAY VENUE during our 11A gathering or at our COLLEGE ROAD VENUE during our 10:30A gathering, starting with Step One on the first Sunday of the month. We invite you to jump in at any time.
Step 2: Contact the Serve Team leader
Contact the Serve Team leader to let them know you're interested in joining their team. They can give you more details and get you plugged in once you've started in Grow Track.
Planning Center
We use an online system called Planning Center for scheduling team members, organizing services, and streamlining communication. Everyone on a Serve Team will need a free Planning Center account to track their schedule, accept or decline requests to serve, and access rehearsal files (for worship team).
