Do I need to attend True North to participate in outreach?
We'd love to help you explore ways to serve! Some opportunities may have specific requirements, so reach out to learn how you can get involved.
What kinds of outreach opportunities are available?
Our outreach includes Prison Ministry, the City Serve Team, and special opportunities to serve people throughout Fairbanks.
Do I need previous volunteer experience?
Not necessarily! Many serving opportunities simply require a willing heart. Some ministries, such as Prison Ministry, may require additional training or approval.
How do I join the City Serve Team?
Sign up to receive updates about upcoming outreach projects and opportunities to serve. When a need arises, you'll have an opportunity to get involved.
Can I serve with my family or friends?
Many community service projects are great opportunities to serve together! Participation requirements may vary depending on the activity.
