SERVICES PLANNING CENTER APP:
Planning Center is an online system for scheduling team members, organizing services, and streamlining communication. YOU WILL NEED THIS on your phone and possibly your computer. Please watch the introduction video or read on to learn how to make the most of your account and know what to expect! CLICK HERE to get "Services Planning Center."
WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THE AUDITION?
- You’re scheduled ONE TIME a month at the Airport Way Venue and ONE TIME a month at the College Road Venue. If you’d prefer being scheduled ONLY ONE TIME per month, no problem. Please let Heidi know.
Scheduling is done with a program called Services Planning Center (see Info above). This is used with all the other ministry teams (in case you serve several places).
You can download it on the app store, too. You’ll receive an email and/or text indicating which Services and Venue you’re scheduled at, along with a list of that week’s worship set to listen and practice (2-3 weeks before you’re scheduled).
- Please ACCEPT OR DECLINE at your earliest convenience. This allows us to find a replacement in a timely manner. Always bring a set of EAR BUDS. They're used for our in-ear monitors. You'll be showed how to use these at the practice.
Schedules are usually sent 2-3 weeks in advance so you can practice ahead of time.
You’re expected to come to practices prepared with either vocals or any instrumental solos/leads. Practices are approx. 1 hour long. (See below for practice times) The Services Planning Center app comes in handy in that you can listen to .mp3 audios and often times listen to INDIVIDUALIZED parts (vocals/instrument) Meaning, all you hear is "your" part.
.M4a Files are available, but it’s mainly for “instrumentalists.” If you can’t access any .M4a files, please let Heidi know.
HOW TO ACCESS SONGS:
Make sure you’re on the ORDER (in Planning Center)
Click the song you’re wanting to hear
Click on “Files” and make sure you find the CORRECT KEY it’s in.
If you’re a vocalist, listen to the .MP3 files. There’s usually the HARMONIES with these files (Tenor, Alto, Soprano)
If you’re an instrumentalist, listen to the .M4a files. This allows you to hear your instrument ONLY.
